Chipchain obtains the 12 nm FinFET design kit

The kit was obtained in 2018.

In 2018 Chipchain obtained the design kit for TSMC's 12 nm FinFET process.

A design kit holds the rules, device models and libraries that a chip is designed against on its process.

The kit followed the company's access to TSMC's 16 nm FinFET process earlier that year.
